Instead, if you want to get rid yourself of a few extra inches around the middle or slim down your legs you should know a few facts about how to burn fat.

In order to burn fat, you have to expend calories. In other words, you have to partake in some form of physical activity so that calories are used up and not stored as fat.

In addition to exercising you should also lower the number of calories that you consume. Eating healthy foods that are low in fat and high in protein and vitamins is a good course of action to take on the road to a slimmer and trimmer you.

Fatty foods should be avoided if you expect to lose weight and also because they are bad for your heart. Foods rich in saturated fats are some of the main causes of high blood pressure and should be avoided at all times, not just when you are attempting to slim down.
