Tips for a Beautiful Skin
Perhaps wearing sunscreen is the most important tip for skincare. This is because the sun is the leading cause of premature aging. Wearing SPF 15 sunscreen is best to protect your chest, neck, and face (or other areas that are usually exposed).
Here are other tips for a healthy skin:
- Drink plenty of water (8-10 glasses) a day. This is very important to flush out the toxins from the body.
- Wash with an anti-bacterial soap daily and do not leave your make-up overnight.
- Take plenty of vitamins that are effectively used for skincare like Vitamins A, E, and B7.
- Use an exfoliator once a week to encourage cell regeneration and blood circulation.
- Do a skin test before applying new products to your skin – place a small amount under your chin and then leave it overnight. If you did not develop irritation, itchiness or redness in the area, then the product is safe for you to use.
- Clean your make-up brushes. Also, keep your hair and hands away from your face – these may bring in bacteria that develop pimples. Excess oils in the skin also develop into blackheads.
Use products and make-up that are designed specifically for the type of skin you have. If you are not aware of your skin type, go to cosmetic counters that offer free skin assessment to find out.
